How To Use Vicks VapoRub?

There are several ways you can use Vicks VapoRub.

The main way to use Vick’s VapoRub is to massage it topically into your chest and upper back before bed. This allows the vapours to reach your nose and throat to provide relief from cold symptoms during the night.

Inhaling Vicks VapoRub

Alternatively, you can add some Vicks VapoRub to a bowl of hot (but not boiling) water. Inhaling the warm vapours can help to relieve the symptoms of a cold.

Hold your head over the bowl and slowly inhale the vapours for 10 to 15 minutes.

Remember to wash your hands after applying Vicks VapoRub. This can prevent you from accidentally getting Vicks VapoRub in your eye.

Vicks VapoRub should not be used by children under the age of 2 years old.

Do not ingest Vicks VapoRub.

Do not apply bandages over areas treated with Vicks VapoRub.
